Curating Violence
Podcast Curating Violence, 2020.
This podcast was created in the context of the “Mobility & Violence” program at Freie Universität Berlin to document our discussions surrounding the concept of violence, in collaboration with Yannick Lilie.
It’s called "Curating Violence" and the episode is titled "The Lucky Country". In this episode, we discuss Galtung's conception of violence and conflict, as well as epistemic violence (Spivak 1988), using the example of Australia. We touch on violence against First Nations Peoples and highlight a part of misogyny in Australian society.
